We have all heard the argument that when your only tool is a hammer that all problems look like a nail. Thus, when I started reading a blog article by Nick Howard with Howard Direct (a Canadian company whose core business is used equipment sales and reconditioning), I was a bit cautious. But I found an article which had some very interesting points, and solid logic.
As Howard implied in his article, it’s time to start moving and not wait for things to happen. Communication and print technology is moving too fast and one can become road kill very quickly by standing still. Although the article’s focus was on equipment re-trenching — it’s a valid argument if one is going to remain rooted as a print services provider — it was well thought out and worth a read.
