What we don’t need over the next few months is more crisis (ala Lybia consulate) to have both parties throwing rocks at each other and just fueling more opportunities for extremists (Islamist and ultra-right conservatives) to create higher walls to climb. We don’t need QE3. Come on Ben, QE2 was worth the try – but more “easing” is not going to change the economic climate. We NEED some signals that this administration – and the next one – will understand that economic growth will begin when businesses stop being treated as the bad guys. We NEED some form of financial regulations which will create opportunities for banks to act as banks – and not investment companies. AND we don’t need the Yankees or the Angels in the playoff hunt.
